Fillings
Fillings are used to treat cavities in a tooth: the dentist will remove the decayed tooth tissue and then fill the space with a durable composite resin material, which is bonded to the tooth.
At Vivaldi Smile Artisans, we use the best bonding and filling materials for restorative work, helping to prevent any long-term damage to the tooth.

Crown and Bridges
Crowns are full-coverage restorations that are used to cover a tooth that is likely to break or is too damaged to be corrected with a traditional filling. You may need a dental crown for several reasons, including:
- Protecting a weak tooth (possibly from decay or root canal treatment) from breaking or to keep the weak tooth together if parts of it are cracked.
- Restoring a broken tooth or a severely worn down tooth.
- Covering and supporting a tooth with a large filling.
- Holding a dental bridge in place.
- Covering a tooth that’s been treated with a root canal.
Although there are aesthetic benefits to this treatment, the main reason for placing crowns is to strengthen damaged teeth so they can withstand the large forces we exert on them when we eat.

How often should I have a check up & clean
For the majority of patients 6 moths is enough. However, if you have high risk for cavities of gum disease, you might need to see the dentist/hygienist more often.
When should I bring my child to their first dental visit?
Usually around 2 years of age, when the baby molars have erupted. The dentist will then discuss hygiene strategies and diet, to help keep your child’s best oral health for life.
