The Vivaldi doctors started their dental journey together in 2001 and for the next 2 decades continued to gather knowledge and build their professional expertise, culminating with the creation of the state of the art dental practice Vivaldi Smile Artisans, located in the heart of Sydney CBD.
Their vision was to create a vibrant and welcoming space, where with the support of a caring team and the latest technologies, they could provide outstanding Dental and Orthodontic care.
At Vivaldi Smile Artisans, Dr Patricia and Dr Gustavo are able to combine their unique expertise and skills to provide exceptional services and world-class experiences for patients of all ages.

With over two decades of orthodontic experience under his belt, Dr. Gustavo Vivaldi has dedicated his career to creating beautiful smiles for adults, teens, and children alike. His journey began in Brazil, where he earned his Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2001 and his Masters in Orthodontics in 2004 from prestigious institutions. His thirst for knowledge didn’t stop there. He further honed his skills through Post-Graduate studies, including a Mini-Residency in Orthodontics at the esteemed University of Michigan.
In 2001, Dr. Vivaldi opened his private practice, which flourished until 2013 when he relocated to Australia with his family. His expertise was recognised in his new home and he was granted general dental registration in Australia.
Dr. Vivaldi’s proficiency extends beyond traditional fixed braces. Over the past 17 years, he has dedicated himself to mastering the use of Invisalign® clear aligners, successfully treating a wide range of orthodontic problems, including complex cases.
Driven by a passion to learn and teach, Dr. Vivaldi founded “The Ortho Partners” in 2018. This platform allows him to mentor other practitioners, helping them enhance their skills in treating cases with clear aligners, particularly Invisalign®. A respected voice in his field, Dr. Vivaldi frequently shares his insights at conferences and dental meetings.

About Dr Barbara Pinheiro
Dr Barbara’s passion for Dentistry started early, growing up with both her parents being dentists, in her home country Brazil.
She obtained her Bachelor of Dentistry degree from the prestigious USP (University of Sao Paulo), which is consistently ranked one of the best Dentistry courses in the world.
She strives to provide dental treatments in a gentle and friendly manner, with a holistic approach. Dr Barbara enjoys treating anxious patients and helping them overcome their fears and restore their confidence and trust.
Over the years Dr Barbara has taken advanced training in different areas of dentistry and she’s particularly recognised by her skills in Endodontics (root canal treatments). She performs all aspects of General Dentistry with strong emphasis on prevention.
Dr Barbara is available on Tuesdays.
About Kate Viewey (Oral Health Therapist)
Kate Viewey, a dedicated Oral Health Therapist,
embarked on her journey in the dental industry immediately after high school, starting as a Dental Assistant. With over 15 years of experience under her belt, she graduated with adult scope from Central Queensland University in 2015. Her passion lies in building strong relationships with her patients, always prioritizing their comfort and empowering them with knowledge for at-home care.
On a personal note, Kate is happily married and a proud mother of two adorable children under the age of 3. A long-time resident of North Queensland, she embraced a new chapter of her life in Sydney at the close of 2023. She is thoroughly enjoying the city’s vibrant change of scenery, especially its stunning beaches.
